The long hair ... I'm still confused about that. I mean, it wasn't in fashion for men to have long hair in that period of time (although we all know that Joel was so concerned about historical accuracy ). Then again, Raoul was an aristocrat, so he could probably do whatever he darn well pleased. Well, even if it wasn't in fashion, they made it look like it was. If you look in the scene where Raoul's trying to get htrough the crowd to Christine's dressing room, he's not the only one with long hair. Besides, if he didn't have the hair I would be sad... I like the long hair! That was one of the first things that drew me to Raoul in the first place when I first saw the movie (I'm not ashamed to admit it! I like guys with long hair. I think it's attractive. ^_^) The second thing that drew me to Raoul was...need I say it...? That voice...!! I like his voice. Those were the two things that, from the very beginning, made me think "This guy is so cool!! ^_^" And, the people that make fun of his hair...ah, let them. They can think what they want, I don't care anymore. I'm just going to keep on being me, and if that means being the polar opposite of almost everyone I meet, then so be it.

I love(d) his long hair! And his voice and his acting and... everything about his Raoul. Only Micheal Ball did it better
