Hey guys! I thought I'd share with you some pictures, being as this is my first "big-time gig". First, here is my dressing room station: This is me all made up lol gotta love stage makeup. This is me all costumed-up (I'm a nun, yes. Ironic? Totally.) Examples of what the other beautiful costumes look like: Me and some of my fellow Supers with our beloved director Now, my mom is something of a rebel, and came to the public dress rehearsal with a camera. She videotaped the curtain call and got screencaps of it! This is the gooorgeous and very, very dangerous set lol And here are some of the leads about to bow... shame you can't see Wendy, but L-R, we have Aaron St. Clair Nicholson/Don Giovanni, Maria Knapik/Donna Anna, and Mark Thomsen/Don Ottavio. Valerian/Commendatore is just next to Mark lol And I'm the nun behind them, downstage left! I will probably have more to share after tonight

Wow -- great pictures, Em! That looks like such an awesome production ... wish I could come see it! And I'm loving the fact that you're a nun. That's pretty hilarious, actually (And I whole-heartedly share the "gotta love stage make-up" sentiment!) Break a leg for tonight, and I'm looking forward to seeing some more

Alriiiight! Opening night picture time! Opening night was amaaazing, guys. Seriously, there isn't an opening night like a professional opening night. There was food everywhere! Chocolate everywhere! Overall LOVE everywhere! And plus... we got a STANDING OVATION. From a SOLD OUT HOUSE. Yessss, baby! Anyways, here are the pics... starting with me sassing it up as I get into costume.. yes, I'm wearing fishnet stockings lol Showing some love to my lucky lemur: Unfortunately, Aaron/Don Giovanni doesn't have that kind of respect for the lemur hahaha Me with Valerian/Commendatore during intermission And finally, me with Michele/Zerlina during the after-party! It was an amazing night, one to remember, definitely!

NEWS FLASH! NEWS FLASH! THERE IS NOW A VIDEO PREVIEW THAT YOU CAN WATCH OF THIS CAST OF DON GIOVANNI. Go to www.operalyra.ca and scroll down a little bit. To your right, there should be a little beige square that says "Video Excerpts" or something along those lines. Click on that, and a window will pop up with the video I'm not in any of those clips, of course, but rather always just off-camera lol Anyways, I only have a couple of pics to share with you from Monday night's show. To answer your question, Angel, we have three more shows... one tomorrow night (Wed), one Friday Matinee (with a different cast! *gasp*), and one final Saturday show Anyways, here are ze pics! A wonderful woman took a bunch of pictures on opening night and printed them for us! I put mine in my dressing room mirror I snuck a shot of darling Maria Knapik/Donna Anna warming up in the rehearsal hall while we got our notes And finally, a shot of the group as they get their notes

Oooh, the pics are great, Em! I am in love with all the costumes...and the fishnetted-nun is making me wonder, but it's still great. And many congrats on a standing ovation from a full house! *joins in the afore-mentioned standing ovation-albeit a tad late* Break a leg at the other performances as well!

Hey guys! Ahh, yes, Lotte, I too am in love with the costumes. I am very, very jealous of the girls who get to wear those gorgeous day dresses!! Wednesday's show went without too much of a hitch, and we had a pretty good audience! Definitely a more casual audience this time; they were actually laughing and such! But I have to say, today's matinee pretty much ruled all. Everything that could have gone wrong did (our Don Giovanni almost fell from his balcony, my black nun wimple slipped off halfway through a scene leaving me white-headed and glowing for the rest), but somehow it was still an AMAZING show. Like, I'm going to miss working with that cast (yes, we had a different cast for this one... this was for students, performed by professional students). And plus... there is NO audience like a STUDENT audience. When Don G came out for his bows, it was like a flipping BACKSTREET BOYS CONCERT. The entire theatre went NUTS. And that's like, 2000 people!! It was a good feeling But here are some pictures!! Me and my marvelous Super ladies Plus darling Maria Knapik, if you can find her! I'm right next to her, so if you can find me... lol Onto the "Silver" cast! This is Eve McCleod, who played Donna Elvira. Total sweetheart, and she has a gorgeous voice! And finally, me with my darling Don Giovanni, Andrew! Gonna miss that old chap
