*cue song by Projet Orange* err, ahem.
We all want a thriving RC community, right? One that rivals the regular Phantom boards, to show our support for our beloved couple! To show the EC'ers who chastise us that we are not a weak subdivision of Phans!
How do we do that? We show people this site. I'm absolutely ecstatic that there are as many people as there are right now, but there's only so many conversations one can have with limited people! So, what I want you guys to do, is to literally tell your friends. Tell people you know either IRL or online who are also RC shippers, or open-minded EC'ers.
Let's get this site movin!

I second this! ;D I'll have to try and convert thsoe irritating EC friends I have ... Anyway, here's a banner I made for those of us who have websites and want to advertise. You don't have to use it, but if you want to, go ahead.  Observe my shoddy Photoshop skills  EDIT: Hmm. I had my first shot at recruiting. These are the responses I got: 1. Raoul is just a f*p! 2. Raoul is a pansy! 3. Raoul only loves Christine for her voice!  (This one got a piece of my mind ... ::innocent smile:  So ... so far, not so good. But I will prevail! Um, EDIT again: Simple Rose, did you ever advertise on PFN? I seem to remember you making a thread about this board so I went looking for it to try and bump it up, but I couldn't find it ... |

Yes, actually, I did post there Though their search engine isn't too good. I also advertised at POTO.com (www.phantomoftheopera.com), and you should be able to find it. Using the words "message board", shouldn't be too hard. But thank you for making an effort! Yeah, if PFN is where you were advertising, I'm not surprised by those bitter answers  They're a little less Raoul-friendly than some sites... POTO.com isn't too bad if you ignore the occasional Raoul-bashing thread. They actually have a legion of Raoul defenders! (myself being part of them, of course)... so if you'd like to bump there, feel free! (BTW the banner looks great, i love that font!) |

You should join POTO.com, Angel!! Lovely site, though I haven't got around to posting my fics on there...I like starting with smaller sites (no offense, Simple Rose  Back on topic, I would try recruiting, if my one Phriend wasn't far, far away, and I knew a Phan in my new town...and if I wasn't afraid of some people on POTO.com (in a good, friendly way ) |

Maybe someone should send messages to the legion of Raoul defenders on POTO.com. I'd do it myself if i was a member, but i haven't got around to actually signing up yet. The reason i mention this is because i first saw the ad for this site there but when i went back to look for it later i had a really hard time finding it. Probably becasue it's such a big site and there are so many threads. Anyway, it might be worth a try...

I'll have to put that in my Gaia sig - I know of at least 2 or 3 that might hop on over. Two of them are recently converted through an RP where I play Raoul. We started out with me and two Raoul haters (well...one Raoul hater - playing Christine - and one "I don't really like him much" type - playing Erik) and after steady RPing for the better part of 7 months not only are Raoul and Christine happily married and expecting their first child - they are planning on naming it after Raoul's best friend who was the best man at their wedding... Erik! Not only has the whole thing turned into a buddy comedy, but Miss Erik now loves Raoul as much as she loves Erik, and Christine has begrudgingly admited that though she may still prefer Erik... R/C and Raoul in general are totaly Ok. Dosent give you such joy to witness such conversions |
