The Movie Thread!

Well, seeing as Angel started a book thread, I found it fitting to start a movie thread. Here, you can talk about your favorite films, gush about your favorite actors *cough*PATRICKANDEMMY*cough*, and just have general movie discussions.

My favorite films:

1. The Phantom of the Opera- For obvious reasons.

2. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory- Utterly hilarious. Plus, it has Johnny Depp and AnnaSophia Robb in one film. And it doesn't hurt that EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER is better in this one compared to the 1971 version.

3. The Hunchback of Notre Dame- All Disney butchering aside, fabulous movie. Especially the music. Above all, the music.

Ooh, my favourite films ... this could be a long list, but I'll try and stick to a top five.

1. I have to say Phantom. Although it does have its shortcomings, I can't help loving it.

2. Beauty and the Beast. That is without a doubt my favourite Disney film; it's so sweet and although I find the last part of the transformation scene at the end rather cringy, the rest of the movie more than makes up for it. And Cogsworth is just awesome, man.

3. Pirates of the Caribbean: the Curse of the Black Pearl. I have yet to meet someone who doesn't like this movie. Good fun, great lines, total eye candy. For heaven's sake, what's not to like?

4. Ghost. Aah, I always end up crying in this one. It's great for when heaps of people come over, because it's got a bit of everything -- romance, thriller, a little comedy and supernatural. Unless your littlest cousin gets freaked out by the name of the film suddenly flashing up with the loud music at the start. Then you know that you should probably not watch the rest.

5. Oh, great. I don't know which one to put as fifth favourite -- Oliver! or Monty Python and the Holy Grail. I love them both!
