That's so cute! I love the little stars you put in her hair... very good job considering (i'm assuming?) it was done in MSpaint, a very tricky program to use cause it's so simple (lol anyone who's tried making a masterpiece on it will know what i'm talking about)

Yes, I made it on MSpaint...it is hard to do masterpieces on that ! I'm trying to convince my parents to get something better for our new house...."they'll think about it" As always. Here's a Meg doll I just finished (same base): img236.imageshack.us/my.php?image=littlegiry8vm.gif Her bow didn't come out as well as I'd have liked it to, but that's to be excepted with MSpaint .

Aw, they're so cute, LittleLotte! I love how you do their shoes - I do a bit of dolling and I'm such a wuss with shoes. I usually just leave them barefoot or give them a really long dress ... I do my dolls in MS Paint, too, so they're not fantastic. Most of the time they're my own creations, but I do have some POTO ones. If you want to see, here are the links. Christine, Think of Me (stage show) - i18.photobucket.com/albums/b139/GDaae/hannibalchristine.jpgYeah ... she was my very first doll! I didn't know how to save her properly, though, so the colours are kind of messed up. Meg (movie) - i18.photobucket.com/albums/b139/GDaae/megdoll.jpgAnother early doll of mine. Quite frankly, I hate how the skirt turned out Raoul (Leroux) - i18.photobucket.com/albums/b139/GDaae/leroux_raoul.jpgMy favourite POTO doll! He has a mustache All bases from Xandorra's Place - www.xandorra.co.uk/

Wow, Angel, you're so talented! I absolutely adore the Christine doll, such detail in the skirt! You're very good at this. I can see why you might not be 100% satisfied with Meg's skirt, but it's very accurate and not poorly done at all. Raoul, however, just cracks me up

Aw, thanks, Em! You make me feel very happy But really, I think I've got a long way to go ... I've seen some absolutely amazing MS Paint dolls on various doll sites. By the way, the skirt on the Christine doll pretty much drove me insane ... but I'm glad you like it. (And yes, Raoul amuses me, too )

Angel, those are so cute ;D! I love the stage Christine doll. Like SimpleRose said, the skirt is very well-made. I'm currently working on Raoul and Erik, and maybe, when I finish those, Mdme. Giry and the Persian. Here is a Carlotta doll I just finished(complete with dead pink thing ) using the Meena base from www.xandorra.net : img186.imageshack.us/my.php?image=carlotta7la.gif

Thanks, LittleLotte! I'd love to see your next ones - your dolls are always so adorable! Love the Carlotta, especially the 'dead pink thing' (and the shoes!). Nice touch giving her the note My current project is an RC (no surprises there), but it'll probably take ages for me to finish

They're not horrible at all, LittleLotte - quite the contrary! I love your Red Death, especially the cape. And I just <3 the Little Lotte scene, especially Raoul's boots. (Yes, I am completely obsessed with shoes )

*dies* Raoulsgem, that is perfect. Just...lovely. Incredible. Edit: Here's the Hannibal scene, with dollies, once again, made with bases from http://www.xandorra.net: img177.imageshack.us/my.php?image=rehearsalsforhannibal2wt.gifMeh. I don't much like the dancers' skirts but....my Carlotta makes up for that completely, I adore her. And for the record, that gray thing behind her is supposed to be an elephant. *hears mutters something like "really? it looked like Carlotta's sister to me"*

Awww, gorgeous! You've done an awesome job with Christine and Meg here ... and your angel is especially nice. I adore your little tombstone thing! (And the font rocks ) The Hannibal scene looks fun, as well and the elephant is super-cute. I really like Carlotta's sleeves and skirt, too! The thing I like about your dolls, LittleLotte, is that they're simple, but make very effective scenes. I haven't been dolling for months ... maybe I should start having another crack at it ...

The thing I like about your dolls, LittleLotte, is that they're simple, but make very effective scenes. Thanks so much! You can just call me Lotte, btw. And now, a non-POTO doll, with a base from http://www.xandorra.net: img359.imageshack.us/my.php?image=sadiedoll6ti.png She's based off one of the Living Dead Dolls- another obssession of mine. If you want to see the doll she's based on, go to www.livingdeaddolls.com, click on Archive, and Sadie's the first doll in Series One. My doll didn't come out too well, but I like her anyway.

That's pretty cool, Lotte - and her clothes really are very close to the original. I love her little flower. Shame you didn't do the eyes, though - that would have made it even freakier

Hah! Happy New Year to you, too! (What is it now, the Year of the Dog? I don't know.) Love the doll, as usual, Lotte, especially the sparkles on her dress -- and the fireworks are spiffy, too EDIT: I actually dragged out that RC doll I'm working on. Raoul's hair is officially driving me freaking insane -- and I haven't even started shading Christine's yet ::gulp:: Yeah ... this could take a while ...

That's great, Lotte! A perfect tribute to the new year! And, yes, Angel it's the year of the dog...I only know that because my sister was born in the year of the dog and she's now twelve...

Side note- I've changed the thread's title to The Doll Thread, since it's greatly branched off from the Think of Me doll.

Okay, I have officially given up on the RC doll I've been doing on and off for ... ages. I officially cannot shade hair in MS Paint. I am officially jealous of my friend, who has Paint Shop Pro 8, while I am stuck with MS Paint. Anyhoodle. Aside from the hair, I reckon it turned out okay. Some of the shading is too sharp, but I honestly don't really care Ah, how easily frustration turns to apathy! i18.photobucket.com/albums/b139/GDaae/raoulchristine.jpg(Base from www.iflookscouldkill.org) Also, here's a doll I made of the main character in my original novel-in-progress. Although I made her a while ago, she's probably my favourite doll that I've made. Her name is Geneviève Rochefort and this is a version of her early in the story, as an eighteen-year-old in late 1869 Paris. i18.photobucket.com/albums/b139/GDaae/Gen1.jpg(Base from www.xandorra.co.uk/)
